La puntata 6x05, oltre a chiarire qualsiasi dubbio sulla validità della Teoria della Penna, ha anche risolto uno dei più grandi misteri della serie, che ci portavamo dietro sin dalla prima stagione.
Mentre Jack e Hurley stanno camminando verso il faro, si imbattono nelle grotte, e qui Jack trova per terra un inalatore per l'asma di Shannon.

last episode there was presentato il faro, un luogo che sembra avere un ruolo focale nelle vicende dei nostri eroi.
Analizzando le caratteristiche della plancia con gli specchi, si possono notare alcuni interessanti particolari che avvalorano ulteriormente la teoria della penna.
Anzitutto i nomi, scritti su bordo esterno, sembrano essere scritti a penna (sembrano, perchè potrebbe anche trattarsi di matita molto calcata, ma è un ipotesi a mio avviso poco probabile).
Il fatto che sia stato Jacob a scrivere i nomi con una penna evidenzia il solido legame che c'è tra il personaggio e il potente oggetto.



Ma non è tutto! E qui c'è la vera rivelazione.

Inoltre non dobbiamo sottovalutare la tematica Bianco-Nero, presente sin dalla prima puntata.
Secondo questa tematica, potremmo suddividere così i personaggi:
Bianco: Gesso
Nero: Penna
Grigio: Matita

Rimane ora da scoprire chi sia buono e chi sia cattivo...

Riguardando la 6x03, Enomix (del forum di ITASA) ha scoperto che Dogen non usa solo la macchina da scrivere.
Al momento il più grande mistero di Lost è scoprire se quella sia una penna o una matita .
A rigor di logica dovrebbe trattarsi di una penna, perchè gli abitanti del tempio sono in guerra con Mister matita, ma potrebbe anche darsi che Dogen sia un doppiogiochista...

Inoltre, asthr , un altro utente di ITASA, ci propone un interessante teoria sul come questa lotta tra Jacob e Mister Matita possa essere cominciata:

finora abbiamo sviscerato la teoria della penna (teoria perfetta direi) solo dal punto di vista degli avvenimenti, degli schieramenti etc.
Ma ci siamo mai chiesti com'è cominciata questa lotta fra penna e matita? quali sono le cause più remote?
è semplice, basta osservare i nomi in lingua originale, ovvero in inglese
penna : pen
matita: PENcil!!!!!!!
