Itinerario consigliato e redazionale geografico

Partiremo da Roma con volo diretto alla capitale dello Yemen Saana'a, dove
trascorreremo una notte in albergo.


Volo yemenia airways con partenza da Roma per Saana'a 6 ore.

Il mattino seguente rientreremo in aeroporto per imbarcarci sul volo della mattina per l'isola di Soqotra dove ci verrà a prendere il corrispondente con il nostro fuoristrada 4*4 per portarci verso gli spot di pesca .
Passeremo otto giorni in campo tendato facendo uscite Daily boat (2 people per boat).

Si legge delle Maldive come un posto dove c'è più pesce che acqua, non è del tutto corretto, preso atto che il pesce che interessa a noi tropicalisti è presente solo in alcune zone ben precise e in alcuni momenti della giornata, la difficoltà consta nel capire dove e quando andare a cercarlo.

Un thila lungo dove l'angler dovrà sfruttare la direzione delle correnti e dei venti.

La soluzione più semplice e sicura, per trovare Gt sono senza dubbio i numerosi rilievi di coralli chiamati Thila, del fondale che si trovano in moltissimi pass.
I Thila hanno profondità variabili e ospitano riparo e cibo per molti predatori.


Un discreto Gt ha attaccato il popper uscendo da un bel Thila negli atolli del nord.

I Bank sono delle secche e delle selle che si innalzano dal fondale oceanico, alle Maldive non molto frequenti, sono assai difficili da raggiungere e soprattutto propongono profondità proibitive.
La parte interna dell'atollo, al di fuori di qualche piccolo relitto e conformazioni coralline affioranti presenta un fondale costante che varia tra i 30 e i 70 metri di profondità, è adatta a una pesca più leggera e di superficie,
